Lindsey Graham and Jim Clyburn. On the same page. Again.

JAMES ROSEN showing up in TheState.com reports on Lindsey Graham explaining his yes vote on the fiscal cliff:

Sen. Lindsey Graham was the only Republican member of South Carolina’s congressional delegation who voted for the last-minute package to avert a ‘fiscal cliff,’ saying Congress had to act to prevent catastrophic consequences.

Sen. Jim DeMint, days before he leaves office, chose not to vote after saying that a lame-duck session of Congress with dozens of outgoing lawmakers shouldn’t vote on such an important issue.

“Without this legislation, there will be a dramatic increase in every American’s taxes,” Graham said after joining most senators in easily passing it. “Additionally, without this legislation, draconian cuts to our national defense will take place.”

South Carolina … 2014 is coming. We can’t blame it on Boehner, low information voters, voter fraud, silly caucuses, mainstream media, George Soros, or anything else we’re so angry about if Lindsey Graham wins his next election.

The rest of the country, however, will be able to blame us.

Why am I not surprised. Lindsey lives a fantasy world.

Surprise, surprise, surprise Lindsey voted again to spend money that we do not have, for pork that we did not need. All to “help” the victims of the storm in the NE.

The funds for relief are needed, but all the attached pork projects were not needed. But then any excuse to spend more seems to be his cup of tea.
