Lindsey Graham and Law of the Sea Treaty
I still don’t see SC Senator Graham on this list, do you?
William Bigelow at Breitbart.com:
Can the US Senate act in time to prevent the United States from ratifying the Obama-favored United Nations International Maritime Treaty? The treaty will fail if 34 votes can be mustered against it, as a two-thirds majority is required for passage. Two more senators, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) are the latest senators to sign a letter to Harry Reid saying they will vote against it, bringing the total of senators opposed to 30.
below is a list of the senators who oppose the treaty. If your senator isn’t on the list, you can contact him/her and demand a vote against the treaty.
The senators opposed are Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), Pat Roberts (R-Kansas), David Vitter (R-La.), Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Jim DeMint (R-S.C.), Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), John Boozman (R-Ark.), Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Jim Risch (R-Idaho), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), John Thune (R-S.D.), Richard Burr (R-N.C.), Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.), Dan Coats (R-Ind.), John Hoeven (R-N.D.), Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Jerry Moran (R-Kansas), Dean Heller (R-Nev.), Pat Toomey (R-Penn.), Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), and Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
What if Graham’s office is paying attention to callers, and what if they determine if they get 1,909 calls Graham will vote against it, and what if they’re stuck at 1,908 and you haven’t called?

I have been in constant contact with his office and I know of a few others. They fully understand this it, Hell hath no fury as compared to what will happen to Him if He signs either one.

For some good talking points when emailing / speaking with the Senator’s office, please see this article from the Heritage Foundation website.

I have written to Senator Graham about LOST as well as the small arms treaty. If our dear senior senator votes for either of these two measures it will most definitely be an act of treason!

It’s only a phone call or email. we aren’t asking you to row across the river, walk barefoot for 9 miles on Christmas night to fight for freedom. Everytime I think I am doing all I can I think about the sacrifice our rag tag army made in 1776 and I re-energize myself. Are we all doing all we can to save this nation? We each have to decide for ourselves.

Linday Graham…you need to account for your not voting against LOST… you alson need to tell us where you stand on the 2nd Amendment issue with the UN…remember you will be facing an election soon….and I plan to heavily campaign for whoever runs for your office….
