Spartanburg Citizen’s Academy
Back in the fall Kathy Rivers came and made a presentation to us about the Spartanburg Citizen’s Academy.
Spartanburg County’s Citizens’ Academy (SCCA) is a learning forum intended to provide
participants with insight on how County government works; open lines of communication between
citizens and County staff; provide information on how citizens can easily utilize the services
offered by County Government; and provide a realistic understanding of County Government operations.
SCCA will meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
March 20 May 15, 2012
No class on April 3
Graduation will be held Monday, May 21
Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012
