DISCLOSE a no go … at least for now
Ed Morrissey reports at Hot Air that with no votes from Snowe, Collins, Graham and with Leiberman out of town attending a funeral Harry Reid does not have the votes to bring this up today, and perhaps not at all … for now.
But stay diligent, this campaign finance bill has huge carve out for unions and special interests, but could cripple donations from grassroots folks like us.
I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS. WE ALL CALLED AND TOLD THE NRA OFF AND SCOLDED THEM BECAUSE FOR 30 YEARS MY HUSBAND AND I AS MEMBERS OF THE NRA HAVE SUPPORTED THEM WITH CONTRIBUTIONS. WE STILL INTEND TO AS THEY HAVE STOOD TALL FOR US. HOWEVER WE LET THEM KNOW THAT WE ARE AWARE OF THEIR CAVING WITH HARRY REID. THEY TOLD US THAT IF THEY NEGOTIATE WITH HIM THAT SOMETIMES. HE WILL HELP THEM BY NOT BRINGING SUCH ITEMS TO THE FLOOR FOR A VOTE. THIS IS ONLY STALLING… THEY DO HAVE THE VOTES.REID IS HOLDING THEM HOSTAGE. THIS IS NOT DONE. I ALSO ASK WHY THEY WOULD NOT SUPPORT SHARON ANGLE…. THE TEA PARTY CANDIDATE…. THE DEVIL THEY KNOW IS BETTER THAN THE ONE THEY DON’T KNOW ETC. THIS IS HOW THEY WORK. I LEARNED A LOT.
