August 7 Anti-Illegal Immigration Rally in Columbia
ANTI-ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION RALLY
WHY YOUR PRESENCE IS NEEDED:
TO SUPPORT: South Carolina bill *S 1446 will allow law officials to ask for proof of citizenship status if that person is suspected to be in the U.S. illegally, after said person is suspected of committing a crime. We, South Carolinians need to show our support of this piece of legislation, and push to get it ratified into law for the state of South Carolina.
TO SUPPORT: Arizona has passed a similar law, and are now under attack by the federal government for deciding to protect its citizens from the flood of illegal immigrants into its’ state, where some illegal’s commit horrendous crimes, most decrease local wages, and bankrupt Arizonans’ social systems.
TO OPPOSE: Modern Day Slavery-The illegal immigrants are being exploited due to their illegal status, and employers who hire them are participating in MODERN DAY SLAVERY. Employers who hire illegals know they can pay illegal’s less than 7.25hr and treat them badly because illegal’s are too scared file a complaint with law officials. Slavery was eliminated in the United States by the **13th Amendment, yet it still exists.
